Shipping and Handling

We offer free FedEx Ground shipping on all U.S. orders.

All orders are processed within 5 to 7 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped, along with the tracking number.

 Shipping upgrades are offered at an additional cost which varies depending upon the product and destination. If you would like to upgrade your shipping, please email us at austin@austinkerr.com.

International shipping is available for select countries, and the cost varies depending on the product and destination. Please email us at austin@austinkerr.com to facilitate your international order.

Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT), which are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination country. Detailed Finishes by Austin Kerr, LLC is not responsible for these charges if they apply.

To the Trade

Interior designers, architects, and other professionals with a valid resale license or other professional certification are eligible for our trade program, which offers exclusive trade pricing on all orders and access to private sales and events. To join our program, please email austin@austinkerr.com and include any of the following information:

  • Resale certificate;

  • Proof of current AI or IDI provincial registration;

  • Proof of current ASID membership;

  • Interior design certification (e.g. NCIDQ, CCIDC);

  • By applying to our Trade Program, you agree that the email addresses you give us as contacts will be added to our email marketing list. However, if you do not want to receive these marketing emails, you may opt-out via the link at the bottom of our marketing emails at any time.

Special Services

If you are interested in a particular piece of art you would like to see in situ, we offer a few options:

  1. We can photoshop the art into your space.

  2. The artwork can go out on approval at the expense and liability of the client.

Below are the requirements if you would like to submit an image of your space to photoshop the art into it. For examples, click here.

  • Take a good quality image of the space with optimal lighting;

  • The image of the wall should be taken straight, not at an angle;

  • Provide titles of any artworks in question;

  • Measurements of the wall height, width of the room, and/or space between objects on the wall where the art would be placed (e.g., between door frame and wall or cabinet).

Return and Exchange Policy

All artwork sales are final and are not eligible for returns or exchanges. In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please take photos of the damaged package before opening it and then remove the contents. If your order arrives damaged, email us as soon as possible at austin@austinkerr.com with your order number, a photo showing the condition of the item(s), and the damaged packaging. We will be unable to file a viable claim with the shipping company without images. We address these rare issues on a case-by-case basis, and we will try our best to work towards a satisfactory solution.

Installation

All artwork comes with the necessary hanging hardware for typical mounting surfaces. We also include a card with a QR code that, when scanned, will open this page and the below list of resources (video and images) for the various high-quality hangers we provide.

Commissions

We welcome and accept commissioned projects. If you need assistance with picking the right size, color, or style of artwork, we would be happy to assist. Existing artwork can be commissioned in a different size or color, too.

 To commission a piece, we suggest scheduling a 10-minute consultation with Austin to discuss your space, style, and the mood you are looking to evoke. During this call, we will also share price point options to meet your needs. Art is very personal, and picking art that speaks to you is important to us. In some cases, digitally edited existing artworks can be photoshopped into your space to help you feel confident in your purchase.
