Vintage Greta Grossman Lamp Restoration

This 1951 Greta Grossman lamp was purchased from R and Company in New York and shipped to Miami for a refinish. While I typically do not advise painting over a vintage collectible piece, this homeowner wanted a new looking vintage piece and in a different color. First, rectifying any surface imperfections the original brown color was refinished with the new eggplant color. The white finish inside of the cobra shade was left as is showing some patina to assist in retaining some of the pieces value.
